Searchlight Team Experience

Those involved with Searchlight who rescue children and adults from trafficking have, cumulatively, worked in well more than 70 countries and spent decades developing a network of elite operators in Canada, Mexico, Russia, the Baltics, Israel, Afghanistan, the UK, India and elsewhere.  Searchlight’s principals and primary agents are comprised of: career law enforcement commanders, police chiefs and SWAT operators; military, including special operations from the US and other countries; government agents from CIA, DHS, CBP and others; private military contractors; and professional bodyguards.  In aggregate, the staff have provided executive protection, security consulting, intelligence-gathering and military services throughout the world, including private contract work in recent years in such high-threat and terror-target areas as Afghanistan, Sudan and other African nations, Russia/Chechnya, Israel, Kosovo, Serbia, Iraq, Syria, Ukraine, India, northern Georgia (during the 2008 Russian invasion), Mexico and southern Thailand.  A number of those nations are among the most prolific sex and labor trafficking sites across the globe.

Agents engaged in this effort possess such specialized skills as long range shooting/snipers, tactical driving, wilderness survival, tracking, hand-to-hand combat expertise and instruction, horsemanship and training, SCUBA diving, including instructors and dive masters; tactical combat casualty care experts and instruction, CPR, AED, medic/first aid and dive medic instructors and practitioners.  Some agents are trained in hostage and barricade negotiations, and have undergone FBI negotiations courses, to include K&R and negotiations with hostage-takers suffering from mental illness.
